Rich Mullins Concert Part #3
Posted By admin on July 28, 2010
This is the part #3 of a concert that Rich Mullins did in Lufkin Texas. Some excerpts from this concert made it to the homeless man video also available on You Tube. This was the last concert tour that he did before he passed on.

Thanks for posting this.
Rich raised the bar musically-how many artists in any genre are this accomplished at mastering all these instruments as well as being a brilliant writer, lover of God-truly humble and compassionate!
I went to this tour-it was the best concert -more like a church service.
I
@amylh322 That’s a cello.
2′53”!!!
@BennieAndThoseJets – thank you!
Rich played with some really good musicians! And of course he could play everything himself as well, i hear
@amylh322 That’s a cello playing fairly high.
Someone who is smart about music, what is the instrument @ 3:18? Is there a violin on stage?
@sara1997 , I do know, sara, yes. But i miss my loved ones here. And it is very poignant to see this man who feels like a friend. We are allowed to weep still. But i will be dancing and jumping for joy when i join them in heaven
I don’t know when Jesus is coming back, and as the Apostle Paul wrote, i work while i wait. grace and peace to all
I sometimes cry when i watch still… but it’s a bittersweet thing, you know? Rich, in his interviews and songs and writings, always seemed to be ready to go Home. But he loved it here too. “To live is Christ, to die is gain”!
Check out Mitch McVicker – I’m surprised how few people know about Mitch’s wonderful music – I didn’t until recently. His 5th CD is coming out in September, the most recent is AMAZING “Love Will Rise”. He’s doing a huge tour right now, check out his website. (Will they let me put it here? Oh well, e-mail me if you’re interested! :0))
OK and now I see Mark! He’s on the upright bass. I’m so sleepy – that’s not a cello is it? But the names are right! Longest hair is Michael. The 3 guys doing the cool stuff with sticks @ 2:19 are I can’t tell the far left guy – anyone? Then Eric Hauk in orange, Cobra Joe in stripes. Michael Aukofer is in a white tee& jeans. Hopefully I got almost everyone! I’ll go grab my tape soon and check. Blessings to you all!
Hi! It is partly! It depended on the day who the actual Ragamuffin Band was. I think “officially”, since they put out a CD under the name “Ragamuffin Band”, it would be Rick Elias, Jimmy A (Abegg), Aaron Smith and Mark Robertson. But Mitch McVicker played at this show too and wrote a good bunch of songs with Rich, was a dear friend. I’m doing this on memory w/o looking at the vid… Lufkin had Michael Aukofer, Eric Hauk (sp), Mitch & i think Cobra Joe. I hope that helps!
NCH Golden Videos is a software designed to go from VHS to DVD. check out the trial (I’ve used Golden Records, and that worked pretty well)
I love all the cool instrumental parts in this concert
“Rich Mullins and the Ragamuffin Band” yes I believe it is…
What an amazing man he was. May you be singing with the angels dear bro
no it is not…
If this is a dumb question I apologize
Is this the Ragamuffins?
Sorry – I’m not any good with that sort of thing.
Kay , I have a tape of Rich and Beacor but dont think any one cares I need help in how to take it from vcr to dvd and post
Thank you for sharing this video of Rich’s concert. It’s a huge blessing to me. I loved Rich’s music and his ministry – - it played a large part in my faith. I still miss him and listen to his CDs all the time.
If more people were like Rich, I dont think there would be one unbeliever left here.
At least I now know that I’m not the only one who has and does feel that way. We are truly blessed to be left with his inspiring music.
Well,dry your tears…I believe Lord Jesus soon will come back,then we’ll meet Rich face to face,isn’t that wonderful?Praise our Lord!!
caroljohnson I did the same. Still after all this time I want to cry. For years after I honestly could not listen to his music. Then I realized Rich would of never wanted anyone to be that way. Yet still it is difficult for me. I am ashamed of myself for that.
His ministry was such a blessing to so many people.
Thank you so much for posting this video! I will never forget the morning I turned on the Christian radio station and heard that “Christian musician, Rich Mullins, was dead at the age of 42. I just stopped in my tracks and cried my eyes out!
